LNG is liquefied natural gas, and is widely used in the energy sector. LNG has many advantages over petroleum, other gases, or coal for generating electricity. CO₂ emissions are significantly reduced by around 25%, and there are many other positive effects. NOx emissions are reduced by around 90%. There are no emissions of sulfur, dust, or particles.
