PT PGN LNG Indonesia “PLI” includes Subsidiaries/Affiliates under the operational control of PLI and Goods/Services Provider Partners working on behalf of PLI, is committed to carrying out operational activities by prioritizing quality, occupational health and safety, security, environmental protection, energy, process safety, asset integrity, community development, and conducting business with integrity while paying attention to the Company’s reputation/image, which is a top priority in accordance with the Company’s values to support business sustainability in achieving the Company’s goals, vision, and mission, by:
- Implement leadership practices that prioritize Quality, HSSE, Process Safety, Asset Integrity, and Anti-Bribery through clear duties and responsibilities;
- Protecting and maintaining the health, safety, and security of the Company, Employees, Contractors, the Community, the Environment, and Customers;
- Managing risk by minimizing it as much as possible in accordance with the As Low as Reasonably Predictable (ALARP) principle, including Major Accident Hazards, by ensuring adequate mitigation through the use of standard equipment, safe process control, competent human resources, ensuring preparedness and response to emergencies and crises, and involving the community as a security measure so that business continuity can be maintained.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations and other requirements, including the internal regulations of PT Pertamina (Persero), Sub Holding Gas, national and international laws, standards, and best practices in all of the Company’s business and operational activities to support the achievement of strategic objectives:
- Providing competent human resources who are able to embody and manifest the cultural values of AKHLAK, financial resources, and other resources in sufficient quantity and capability;
- Prohibiting bribery and similar practices within the Company;
- Ensuring that each personnel performs their duties and responsibilities in accordance with the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), policies and work reference documents/work systems, as well as applicable laws and regulations and other requirements, and imposing sanctions for any violations in accordance with company regulations and applicable laws and regulations;
- Ensuring understanding and implementation of Corporate Life Saving Rules (CLSR) among employees and business partners, followed by implementation of Good Housekeeping, management of Process Safety Barriers, and intervention in conditions or actions deemed unsafe.
- Undertaking environmental protection efforts through the use of sustainable resources, conserving energy to achieve efficiency, managing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, managing and implementing the 4Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Recovery) for effluents, hazardous and non-hazardous waste, protecting biodiversity, and avoiding operational activities in areas with high biodiversity;
- Implement security measures by creating safe and controlled situations and conditions for personnel, materials, and documents/information to ensure the smooth operation of the Company by applying open and closed security measures, both physical and non-physical.
- Manage incidents through investigation and learn from them to prevent similar incidents in the future, and communicate transparently with relevant stakeholders.
- Increasing the awareness of employees and business partners so that they can carry out their work correctly, safely, and with environmental awareness, as well as involving employees and business partners in communication and consultation activities.
- Encourage every Employee and Goods/Services Provider to report any alleged violations of policies and work systems committed by PLI personnel by developing identification capabilities, providing easily accessible reporting channels, maintaining confidentiality, and providing safety guarantees.
- Ensuring that the Anti-Bribery Compliance Function (FKAP) has sufficient authority and independence in order to support the effectiveness of controls;
- Developing a synergistic and collaborative ecosystem based on the principle of mutual benefit with relevant stakeholders, including Goods/Service Providers, the community, and other stakeholders;
- Preparing management systems, human resources, technology, and other support to ensure the implementation of HSSE aspects in the Company’s new business;
- Implementing, evaluating, and improving the suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of the Quality Management System, Occupational Health and Safety, Security, Environment, and Anti-Bribery systems, which are routinely monitored and reported on for continuous improvement.
